Chipworks Annual Luncheon Presentation During IEDM

Chipworks’ Dick James is once again presenting some of the interesting advanced CMOS process technology that hit the market in 2009. This year some additional focus will be on the features found in Intel’s latest 32 nm microprocessor. This will include a walkthrough of a massive 12,000+ SEM image mosaic taken at 15,000X – it will be like having a SEM in the conference room.

Also including:

Freescale / IBM 45 nm SOI Process used in their PowerQuicc III communications processor
AMD-ATI / TSMC 40 nm Technology

Date:	Monday December 7th
Time:	Doors open at 12:00 noon, presentation from 12:30 – 1:15
Place:	Baltimore Marriott - a 15 second walk across the courtyard of the IEDM Conference Hotel (show hotel info)
