We have weekly and monthly staff meetings where we share candid details about major wins, successes, corporate performance to plan and what’s coming up next. Lunch-and-Learns are also hugely popular venues featuring details on a latest technology or photos from an inspiring vacation – and everything in between. These and other venues provide everyone with opportunities to get involved, ask questions, share their ideas, and be part of a dynamic team.

We’re not saying life’s a beach every day at Chipworks, but we do have our own volleyball court!

Some of our many initiatives include, seasonal celebrations held throughout the year,  our Summer Student Program which employs children of our employees and activities to raise funds for United Way.

Does Chipworks offer flexible hours?

Yes! We work with our staff to find a balance between both work and family needs by offering flexible hours and schedules. We recognize a standard work week, typically from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Depending on your role, you will have the ability to shift your hours to facilitate the flexibility you need while contributing to Chipworks’ success.

What other unique programs do you offer? (e.g. fitness, vacation purchase, in-house yoga)

Fitness reimbursement

The benefits of regular physical activity are well known: lower incidence of cardiovascular disease, improved physiological well-being, and higher energy levels, to name a few. We see this as a tremendous low-cost, high-value benefit to all employees and helps promote a healthier you. Simply enroll at your favorite fitness center and we reimburse you $200 annually towards the cost of membership. Not a fan of fitness centers? You may also choose to use this reimbursement towards the cost of a variety of sports activities, including our in-house yoga or boot camp classes.

In-house yoga and boot camp

Many of our employees enjoy onsite yoga and boot camp classes. Led by professional instructors, these classes run during the lunch hour and help promote mental and physical fitness through strength, flexibility, and restorative stress management techniques.

Vacation purchase or sell program

While we encourage all employees to take full advantage of their vacation allowance to recharge; you may need less or more time off. Our vacation purchase program gives you the flexibility to buy more time and take that extra special vacation. Or you can sell vacation time to pocket some extra money.
